Discussion

Ignition is an important concept in biodynamics. It is an ongoing process of activation in the physiological processes of the body, most often explored as a sense of potency building and spreading. The major cavities of the abdomen, thorax and neural cavity can all be felt to be relatively more or less potent. Exploring a sense of coherence emerging in the centre of each cavity and spreading to fill the cavity space can be a profound treatment approach. The centre of each cavity is considered to be the third ventricle in the neural cavity, the heart space in the thorax and the the area deep to the umbilicus in the abdomen.
